I have missed you.
Autumn come wrap me
in your cool embrace,
the winds turn from the north
quiet airs play through
gently stirring, fallen leaves.
I have missed you.
As I gaze out my window blurred
with falling rain
(or is it a haze of tears?)
lightning shatters the dark
memories are brought light.
I have missed you.
Flowers once left outside your door
long ago withered, gone to dust;
as we once walked together,
I now walk alone, and
pass without a trace.
I have missed you.
Autumn come wrap me
in your cool embrace,
the winds turn from the north
quiet airs play through
gently stirring, fallen leaves.
I have missed you.
As I gaze out my window blurred
with falling rain
(or is it a haze of tears?)

memories are brought light.
I have missed you.
Flowers once left outside your door
long ago withered, gone to dust;
as we once walked together,
I now walk alone, and
pass without a trace.
I have missed you.
